About SoundSource
SoundSource is Rogue Amoeba's macOS audio control utility that lives in the menu bar and provides per-application volume control, per-app audio routing to different output devices, and the ability to apply Audio Unit effects to any audio source in real time. Version 6 (released late 2025) added dozens of new features and supports macOS 15 through 26. It replaces the need to dig through System Settings for audio configuration and lets users mute individual apps with a single click.
